About Taylah
Hi there – let me introduce myself. My name is Taylah and I’m adorable (my foster mum’s words not mine!).
Even though I’m young, life hasn’t all been a bed of roses for me – I was found wandering the streets and picked up by the local ranger. Luckily SAFE took me in and now I am getting lots of love and attention from my foster mum and my foster dog-brother. I’m also eating lots of good food so growing up to be strong and healthy.
I LOVE my dog-brother and as I am only young – he has taken me under his paw and is teaching me the ropes and how to act like a good doggo! In fact, I copy EVERYTHING he does which is great because my foster mum says he is a very good boy. Although I can be a little bit nervous when I first meet other dogs – my brother is giving me lots of confidence so I’m not as shy as I used to be. In fact, I am willing to try just about anything – although I can be a little bit nervous at first.
Although I haven’t had a lot of training – my foster mum is really, really pleased with my progress. In a short time, I’ve learnt to sit for my food, walk well on the lead and come when I’m called. I do rather like my food / treats which make me eager to learn. But mostly I just like to please my foster mum so that’s more than enough encouragement for me to learn my manners. My house training is coming along well and mum is really pleased that I’m not a chewer nor a digger!
My favourite toy is a mickey mouse which I love to carry around in my mouth but one of my other favourite things is just hanging out with my foster mum – you see I just love being near her and making her happy. I haven’t had a lot to do with children, but I did meet one who was quite young, and we got on really well – I was nice and gentle with him. My mum has some chickens - who live in their very own house – and although I’m interested to see what they’re doing, I’m not overly concerned about them. I haven’t met these things called pussy-cats yet – so not sure about them.
If you think I could be “Taylah-made” for your family, why don’t you contact SAFE today for more information.
