Hi! I’m Rain. I’m a 9-week-old kelpie. I’m one of 9 puppies known as “The Weather Pups.”
Foster mum says I’m an energetic little girl. I've got loads of energy and love to play.
I need an active home with a doggie sibling, or a home that will ensure I have lots of socialisation with friendly dogs to help me grow in confidence. I live with 3 resident cats and chickens.
I love to play with soft squeaky toys and I enjoy a good game of tug ‘o’ war with my siblings. Chasing the little ball around is pretty fun too.
I sleep outside in my kennel with my siblings under the watchful eye of my older foster sisters. Foster mum & dad don’t hear a peep out of me until the morning.
Being a working breed, I need an active home. One that’s committed to my ongoing training & socialisation. If that’s you then what are you waiting for? Foster mum would love to hear from you.

Please note...All Doggie Moggie Rescue pups are required to be desexed at 6-months-of-age. You will be required to sign a Desexing Contract agreeing to this. We provide a desexing voucher if at our cost at a vet of our choosing within an hours drive of your residence. If you choose to desex at your vet it will be at your own cost with the adoption fee reduced to $420.
All our pups are given monthly flea and tick treatment and given heartworm, worm prevention.

~Rent or own your home? (Written agreement is required by your
landlord/real estate for rental properties).
~Work commitments/how long would I be left alone?
~Why do you think I would suit your family?
~As a working breed I will need ongoing training and mental stimulation to keep me from being bored. How do you plan to meet those needs?
~Will you let me live inside and be part of the family?
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea, tick and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality puppy biscuits & raw, can you
guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?

~A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas will be
required.
~A vet reference may be required.
