About Hershey
Our gorgeous Hershey was picked up and taken to a local pound where he was never reclaimed. He has obviously never been mistreated and is such a sweet, beautiful, smart fella. Hershey will fit into most family situations. He is currently in foster care with 2 other dogs, a cat and 2 children. Hershey was straight away sitting for food and is very well behaved - although of course he is still a playful puppy.
Hershey is most likely going to be a medium sized dog, although as we do not know either parents, we can never guarantee his size. Hershey would love another dog to hang out with and definitely needs to be allowed inside to sleep and to be included in family activities, both inside and out.
Continued training and socialisation are a must and a fully fenced yard is non-negotiable.
Hershey loves everyone, and everyone who meets him loves him. Someone will be very lucky to adopt this little guy. His current foster carer has expressed interest in keeping him, but as they kept their last foster dog, and cat, we have had to put a limit on them !
Local adoptions are most appropriate, as he still needs vetwork to be completed. But if the new owner is willing to have vetwork done with their own local vet (which may be slightly higher in cost) then we are willing to adopt him out of area. Photos would need to be provided of yard and fencing and proof of rental permission is needed is required.
Medical notes
Hershey has had his 1st vaccination and his 2nd vaccination (C5) is to be done at appropriate time. This cost (with our local vet) is included in the adoption fee.
Hershey will be desexed when old enough, normally 5-6 months. This cost is also included in the adoption fee (what we pay for our local vet).
