Mangoplah and Weetalabah are gorgeous furry bundles of love and fun. Their favourite pastimes are wrestling with each other, chasing their foster brothers around, playing tug (dressing gown cords are a favourite) and having cuddles.
They have Kelpie colouring, but are more sized like a large Jack Russell Terrier.
Mangoplah (3.2kg) – other than the colouring he is all JRT in build and personality. A big personality in a tiny puppy. He is curious and adventurous and does not like to be left out. He will still be looking for play after his littermates have gone to bed. Once he is played out he loves a cuddle and to fall asleep on your lap. He gets on well with other dogs, but can also be independent.
Weetalabah (3.6kg)– other than colouring she is currently built like a corgi and has quite short legs for her build and a thickish fur coat. She is our gentle sweety, she does love a game of tug, but she is the first to tire and can be a little timid some times. She likes cuddles at any time and will often seek out people to be picked up. She adores her foster brothers and all other dogs she meets, so would really benefit from a friendly playful resident dog to help with her confidence.
The puppies currently sleep in a crate with access to a pee mat as their little bladders can’t make it through the night yet. They are progressing well with their day toilet training and always use the mat in their play pen or will go as soon as you take them outside. They are only 10 weeks old yet so will need more work on this with their new family. They are learning to sit, and wait for their food.
Despite their small size, with a mix of JRT and Kelpie they are going to need lots of exercise and mental stimulation and training, they listen well and learn new things quickly so should be easy to train. They will need a home where they are included in day to day activities, and exercised daily. They haven’t been tested with children, but given their size and nature should be ok. Not tested with cats.
