Hi! My name is Peanut and I’m a 2 year old Kelpie x

I’m a pretty cruisey, laid back kind of guy, who loves nothing more than just hanging out with my humans or doggy pals, whatever the activity is that we’re doing. I’m super friendly and get along with everyone, dog or human! I have mastered all of the basic commands such as sit, lay down, and to “stop” or stay. I know my name and have a good recall off lead, however I don’t really tend to want to wander far away from my humans anyway.

I am currently living on a farm with my foster family and I absolutely love it! I’ve been spending my days working around the farm with my foster family and it’s just what I need. I have so much fun running around, swimming, and playing with my doggy friends everyday. My absolute favourite thing to do is to play fetch with my ball, I could chase after my ball all day if someone had the time to throw it for me! I am also the kind of dog who is quite happy to curl up on the couch with you after a day of running and playing, and just hang out with you. I am well mannered when it comes to meeting new animals, so far I have met some horses, cows and chickens that also live on the farm and I am very polite and well behaved. I am house trained and am happy to sleep inside or out.

I would love to find a family who live on acreage, so that I have some room to run around every day. Most kinds of families would suit me as long as they understand the daily physical and mental demands of my breed. My new owner would also need to be happy to throw my ball for me a few times everyday. Please no small yards / townhouses etc as they would not suit me!

I need a family who is dedicated to my ongoing training, as I’m still young and love to learn new things. I would also love another doggy sibling to live with, or to have someone who is home most of the time to hang out with.
