My name is Alvin and I am a 3 year old big boy Greyhound weighing 38kgs. After a very short period of racing, I now look forward to my new life as a playful and affectionate member of your family.

My foster family have been great to me and they will tell you that I am a clean (house-trained) sometimes sleepy, very playful dog.

I enjoy playtime, enrichment and squeaky toys as well as hanging out with you whilst you work. I love going out, car rides, people watching and hikes too! I have good leash manners. I have shown that I love the company of other dogs and kids however may need some more exposure with them.

When outside I must stay on the lead and can walk up and downstairs and get into the car.

I currently live with a 6 year old hooman whom I have shown a liking towards. I can watch him play calmly as long as my boundaries are respected. I am curious and enjoy the company of older children that understand my doggy boundaries.

I might be a bit anxious at the beginning with new routines and environment, but with time I will learn to trust and settle down and my playful active self will come out.
