About Rafi
Hi everyone, my name if Ralphie but you can call me Rafi.
I’m a Jack Russell and I’m 7 years old. Please consider me for your new best mate, because I really want to hang out with you forever. I’m looking for a quiet home, so no kids please, they make me nervous. I like cats and I like dogs if they are calm and quiet like me. I won’t tolerate a young upstart who wants to jump all over me.
I’m not a super energetic boy but I do like a walk. If you take me around the block, that suits me just fine, I don’t need much more, and I’m not much of a one for games, so if you’re looking for someone to play fetch with, I’m not your guy. I’m not much into toys or games. I just like to hang out, so if you’re into gardening or home stuff I might be an awesome companion for you. I don’t bark dig or destroy stuff.
Just so you know, I’m nervous of strangers, so please don’t think that I’ll make friends with you easily. I won’t hate you; I just won’t want you to touch me till I get used to you. I’m not a lap cuddle dog, so if you’re looking for a cuddle bug, that’s not me either. I’m looking for a human who will be my company without being all over me or in my space. Once I know you, I’ll love some pats and I’ll follow you around sometimes, but I’m not clingy and I don’t have separation issues. I will love some treats however, and I know how to sit up and ask for them really nicely.
Ok, so I also have another issue that you’ll need to help me with. I have some skin allergies, probably seasonal, and when I get red raw and itchy it hurts, if you touch it, I’ll defend myself. Foster Mum can pick me up no problems when my skin is good, but I did bite her when it hurt, so please understand I may need a vet visit seasonally, and I hate the vet. At the moment I’ve had a cytopoint injection and it’s keeping me itch-free, but I may need one seasonally. Otherwise, I’m fit and healthy!
So, if you have a quiet home and need a little mate, maybe I’m the one for you, and maybe you might be the one for me. Email for an application form.
Love Rafi.
PS Please don’t apply for me if you are going away over Christmas/New Year etc as I won’t cope with being left with your friends or family.
