About Roy
**roy is trialling his new home**
what a delightful young chap roy is! he is a charmingly handsome dog!
he is thought to be a schnauzer x maltese terrier. He has charcoal and light grey coloured hair, chocolate brown feet and chin, and a thin waggy tail. His fur is as soft as cotton wool, matching his equally soft, gentle nature. Roy is a smallish sized dog with a big heart. Whilst he only just squeezes in to be considered a lap sized dog, roy likes to think he is, gently nudging his way onto your lap, looking up at you with his big, kind eyes. Roy indeed loves his cuddles and is soo appreciative and grateful of attention and affection, although never demanding of it. He's not needy, he just wants to feel safe and know you will always be there for him and will be kind to him. Roy is a mild mannered boy who has a beautiful, politely inquisitive nature. Roy is a very quiet, placid dog and is no trouble at all to pick up or handle - he's very patient and gentle. He sleeps without a peep during the night at his current foster home and waits to toilet when let outside in the morning. He is still working on his obedience training but he definitely has a natural inclination to being a good mannered family member. Roy is also still getting used to suburban traffic on his walks, which he enjoys. Roy is friendly with other dogs, although more interested in humans. Whilst he happily instigates play with the dog is currently in foster care with, he would equally adore to be your only dog, receiving all of your love and attention. Roy should be fine with children too, so long as they know how to be gentle and how to love him properly. Roy is so desperately looking for his forever home that will provide him with what he longs for: a sense of belonging and feeling like he's your one and only. We think he would make a great family dog and bring his special people so much love and joy. He strives for his loyalty to be accepted, and patiently waiting to be needed by his forever family. Roy doesn't ask for much. He just wants to be loved and taken care of (with lots of cuddles and a belly rubs, of course!). You will be so rewarded with roy if you can provide him with a loving, caring home he so deserves. If you are interested in one of our dogs please complete an application form.
