All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Hi my name is Quba !
Yes thats right spelt with a Q.
Don't let my size fool you, I am a gentle giant and a big softy, the first thing you will notice about me is that I have stunning blue eyes and my beautiful Fawnequin coat. (thats a mixture of Fawn and Harlequin)
I am reasonably active and love running around the yard wrestling and sniffing all the scents in the air with my foster pal.
But I am just as happy to just curl up in a flower pot if its big enough to fit me in as you can see in my photos.
I especially love going on walks, I am very easy on the leash and do not pull, if I get a little ahead of you, I can be corrected to walk again by your side.
My Ideal Home:
Quba would love a home in which he can be part of the family and would absolutely love regular outings with the family.
He copes really well being left alone with a long lasting chew or some toys to keep him entertained.
I love car rides and will jump straight in - ready to go on an adventure!
Quba has the typical Dane trait of leaning and will quite happily lean on his hoomans!
What is Known About My Background:
Quba was found as a stray in the Illawarra region of Sydney and handed into the RSPCA.
He was fostered out from the RSPCA kennels as he had begun to develop mild happy tail, which is now healing very nicely (the tip of the tail becomes sore from wagging and hitting against solid objects).
Quba knows how to sit and stay.
He is desexed and all vaccinations are up to date.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Quba is quite gentle with kids, although due to his size (can be a little clumsy at times) would recommend confident children with a large dog.
Quba has seen some cats on his walks and is alert to them, but can be easily corrected to continue on the walk.
Quba is alert to birds but does not pull or chase.
