Hi there, my name is Tessa! I’m a very gentle and affectionate girl who is looking for a new home.

My favourite things to do are spending time with my humans on slow walks and cuddling at home. I enjoy being outside during the day so an undercover area with a little space for me to snooze would be amazing! I just love listening to the rain or relaxing in the shade on a hot day.

My manners are impeccable. I am house trained, don’t bark or pull on the lead, I wait patiently for my food if prompted and take treats gently. I can sit, lay down and stay on command, and I look forward to learning many new tricks. I like using my nose to find the yummy treats my foster family hides for me.

My smallest foster family member is only 2 years old, so I make sure to be very gentle and patient with her. She loves brushing and patting me and I thoroughly enjoy the attention.

I’m friendly with other dogs, but I don’t get overly excited seeing them. Some are more interesting than others so I’m happy to say hello. I’m happy to be an only dog but also wouldn’t mind a friend. Cats and other animals don’t really interest me, although I haven’t seen many around here.

At night I sleep soundly in my crate. My foster parents say they don’t hear a single sound from me apart from the occasional snore. I don’t care much about jumping over the fence, but my foster family says my new home should have a 6ft fence just in case I see something exciting.

I don’t need much to be happy, some good food, a quiet place to relax, some exercise to stretch my legs and a lot of quality time with my humans. A medium-sized yard with an undercover area would be amazing. I would suit anyone who is willing to open their home and their heart to me.
