Buster wants a farm. Hi, my name is Buster, and I’m a growing 40KG, 1 year old +, Wolfhound x Mastiff, that’s full of bravado, play, and loyalty. I will not suit a suburban life, and will only thrive in a loving and patient home, with wide open spaces, where I can run and burn energy.

I’m smart, silly, good at all of my basic commands, house trained, and love a scratch. However, I’m a super crazy adolescent at heart, and not perfectly behaved in all situations. Therefore, I will need a forever home with fair but firm leaders, whom are very familiar with large sight-hound/guarding dog breeds, and confident in providing me with effective expert guidance.

I will need continued help in learning how to control my emotions/excitement, and remain calm, when encountering unfamiliar, or highly stimulating environments. My natural instincts and prey drive, are extremely strong. I get along well with other tolerant, energetic and playful dogs, when correctly introduced. However, I am not good with small dogs or other little animals.

I’m a complex character, protective of my pack, and initially, can be wary/nervous of new people. If you build a genuine mutual respect with me, provide the space / exercise / stimulation I require, and put the time and effort into my on-going training, I will be your guaranteed dependable, fun, and entertaining best mate.
