About Acorn
Hey everyone, Meet Acorn!
Acorn is the perfect bunny for a rabbit-savvy home. She is an independent and laid back gal who is very used to getting things her way. She does not like being picked up or handled, but if you just leave her be on the floor she loves her pats and cuddles.
Acorn has come from a home were the dog was her best friend, she is incredibly social and affectionate towards dogs.
Rabbits make great indoor pets, they can be trained to use a litter tray, appreciate gentle grooming, and respond to the sight and sound of their owner.
Rabbits do not make 'ideal children's pets' despite their popularity for kids. As a prey animal, they are not keen on being picked up off the ground, and have flexible spines which makes them prone to injury if mishandled. Rabbits have high cleaning and grooming requirements, require a balanced diet and suitable housing, and can live for 8-12 years!
Acorn is ready for all that life has to offer and this very attractive girl has a lot of years of love to give. If you would like to make an appointment to meet Acorn, give us a call on 54412209 to book an appointment to come and meet her.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
