About Focaccia
Hi there, my name is Focaccia, and I’m just about ready to start looking for my forever family. Will that be you? I haven’t had my vet work done yet, and this time of year makes it tricky, I’m hoping to be ready for my new family by the second week of January 2022.
I was found along with my 2 brothers and 2 sisters not to long ago under a house in Jesmond. We hadn’t met too many hoomans before we were found, but we all instantly knew we could trust the ones that found us, we all purred so much and started making biscuits that the hoomans decided to give us all baking bread names… aren’t we lucky… we are the BREAD litter.
Since I have been in my foster mums home with my brothers Bagel and Crumpet, I have learnt that I really like little hoomans they are the least scary thing in this world. I also love the big hoomans too. I will come and find my people wherever they are and snuggle on their lap or chest, or on a blanket close by. I like purring and love it when my hoomans pat me and love me. I even follow my little hooman around the house. I love to be picked up and just chill in the arms of my foster family. I am so placid and will just lay there while my brother tries to play and bite me. I meow and seek out my people from across the room! I just want to be near them!
We spent a little bit of time with my sisters Helga and Brioche the other day, and we didn’t get along too well to start with, with lots of hissing and growling. We forgot we were siblings.
I love food! BTW all types… I some times sneak big kitty food from the big cats in my foster home because I just want to taste everything.
I currently live with my foster fur-family which includes 3 adult cats - Whispy, Malibu and Minty. I am very inquisitive when it comes to these cats, but I sometimes get hissed and growled at - but they are getting better and they are teaching me all the ins and outs of being the best ME that I possibly can be - for you!
I am also learning how to clean myself because I will have long fur as I grow bigger. I am learning to use my best kitty manners, like when I can and cannot play with the big cats. (They are mostly okay, but when I get too close or try and play with a swishing tail - they get cranky!)
I love cuddles and kisses and purr as soon as I’m patted or picked up. I love to snuggle up to you. I love to be close by to my hoomans.
I think I’d like to have kitty friend to live with and to also continue teaching me how to “cat” but mostly importantly I’d love a family that loves cuddles and kisses and that I can curl up with and make some bread! I think I’d be okay as an only cat as long as my hoomans are available to snuggle and play with me all the time,
Lots of love,
Focaccia
