About Milo Mitzi
Our senior bonded Maltese Shihtzu's Milo 12 years and Mitzi 10 years of age are ready to start the search to find their retirement home.
Milo and Mitzi are bonded and will only go to a home together in a home where they get to live indoor with secure outside yard access.
Milo (male) is a little deaf (age related) and takes a little while to settle into a new environment. He likes to know where Mitzi is, so will stress a little if he can't find her. Milo is good with other smaller dogs but can be a bit protective and show the small dog attitude towards bigger dogs.
Mitzi (female) is the more social of the two and is quite the princess. Mitzi loves to be up high and sleep on large cushions on the couch (princess and the pea scenario 🤣).
Milo and Mitzi are both desexed, house trained and both have dental disease that will need ongoing maintenance (dental cleans and monitoring). They have both recently had dental cleans and extractions.
This gorgeous pair would benefit from having someone around the home a fair bit. They like being around people and having the home comforts.
Milo and Mitzi go to their carefully matched home flea and worm treated, desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. Their combined adoption fee is $750.00.
To register interest in providing Milo and Mitzi a home please email us at Phoenixarh@outlook.com at tell us why you think you are a good match for them and provide your phone number for follow up discussions.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
