On Hold
About Morris - 8 week old (on trial 30/11/2021)
This tiny tyke is Morris!
Morris came into care at the tiny age of two weeks, before he had even learned to eat, poop or tie his own shoelaces. He spent 6 weeks having an absolute whale of a time with his brothers and sisters, learning all the finer points of kittenhood like which food tastes best, how to use the litter like an absolute gentleman, and how to make his foster mum laugh at his hilarious jokes.
All of Morris' siblings have now found their forever homes and he is lucky last! Morris is a super playful little man, who loves his toys, his siblings and his humans. He is a brave little explorer who showed no fear of the dreadful beasts roaming his foster carer's home (now that he thinks back, they may have just been other cats and a dog). He will make a wonderful addition to his new family.
Important Morris details:
- Eats fantastically and is perfectly litter trained.
- Is microchipped, has had his first vaccination and has been treated for fleas and worms while in care.
- Is available to a home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast region, so that he can be returned to a DRN affiliated vet for desexing when he is approximately 4 months old.
- Will need to go to a home with another young cat for company, or to be adopted as a pair with another kitten. If this is not possible, his new family will need to have someone home more often than not. He's just a baby after all!
- Would be OK with cat-friendly, gentle dogs.
- Must be kept indoors, or with access to a secure cat run or walks on a lead outside.
- He is in care in Wallsend and his adoption fee is $250.
