About Kobe
Kobe is a beautiful big pup that loves all the attention, I believe he would be best suited to a home with another big dog and someone who is dedicated to spending much needed time training him and helping him become the best he can be. Kobe will need a lot of work done to help improve his basic manners around the yard as he does love to pull the washing off the clothes line and thinks that you trying to catch him is the greatest game in the world, so a lot of work on his recall will be needed.
Kobe would suit a family that live an active lifestyle that would be happy for him to tag along on adventures. Since being in foster care Kobe has learnt to sit, shake hands and “get up” on the back of the Ute. He is currently in foster with a Jack Russell and a Rottweiler, who he loves to play with and snuggle up to. Kobe is an absolute water rat who loves playing under the sprinkler, swimming is dams and rivers or chomping at the water coming out of the hose. I have had Kobe around toddlers and young kids and he has not shown any signs of aggression towards them and was happy for them the pet and play with him. I would be very mindful of Kobe’s size tho if you do have toddlers/young kids.
If you think Kobe would be the perfect dog for you, please don’t pass up the opportunity to meet this beautiful boy. I promise you, you’ll fall in love 🥰

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
