What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate who is gentle and calm may be okay as boisterous dogs scare me so I will require lots of socialisation with positive experiences with other dogs.
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• NO POCKET PETS AND NO POULTRY - I find them way too exciting and will bark at and chase them
• Lots of love and attention
• I am very people orientated however am not fond of being picked up
• No young children as I do get startled easily with sudden movements and loud noises and they may accidently scare me. Older children who will be gentle around me should be ok.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Small children due to being startled by sudden movements & loud noises

My best features:
• Very playful once I get to know you
• Gentle & placid
• I can sit and shake hands on command
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I walk well on lead
• Happy to hang out with other quiet dogs

AN ADOPTION CAN'T BE APPROVED IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TO THE SHELTER TO MEET WINNIE IN PERSON.
