About Yoda
Little Yoda has begun the search for his forever family!
This cutie is going on 9 weeks old and adores all of the attention to be on him. Yoda is a smoochy boy and loves to have a big snuggle once he is all played out.
Yoda would suit a wide range of family homes, including other pets. He has lived with people, cats and a dog in his foster home and would fit into just about any family home!
He is a very social little man and just loves to explore his surroundings!
Yodas’ adoption fee helps to cover his desexing surgery and microchip. He will go to his new home up to date with his first vaccination, flea and worm treatments.
Our estimated date of adoption will be around mid to late December.
Medical notes
Yoda is nearing the end treatment stages of a tough battle with a fungal skin infection known as ringworm.
Ringworm is a pesky skin infection which is caused by a group of fungi called dermatophytes that feed on keratin in skin, hair, and nail tissue. We most commonly see ringworm in kittens, mainly strays that have been rescued. The typical appearance is patchy areas of hair loss with scaly skin especially around the head, face and feet.
The ringworm fungus does not always result in an infection. The amount of environmental contamination is an important factor in the development of a ringworm infection, as is the age of the exposed person or animal. Healthy adult humans are usually resistant to infection unless there is a break in the skin such as a scratch. Elderly people, young children, and adults with immune system weaknesses or skin sensitivities are especially susceptible to ringworm infection.
What a brave boy!
We dont foresee any ongoing complications for this handsome boy once cleared of his ringworm!
