About Chef Murphy
Chef Murphy is the biggest cuddle bug with a heart of gold!
He’s the perfect combination of a couch potato and a running buddy. Simply put, he is happiest when doing anything with his humans.
Murphy loves cuddles, a tasty treat, playing a game of tug-of-war and going for his regular walks. He’s about 65 kilos of love and excess skin!
He’s an intelligent boy who has all the basics down-pat! Something that will require ongoing work is his interactions with other dogs. Murphy can get a little too excitable when he sees another dog and will always try to meet them. Fortunately for his forever family, Murphy is a quick learner and is very keen to please (even more so if there’s a treat on offer). Even better for his people, we have a trainer keen to assist his forever family in this area of training! However, Murphy will not be suited as an off-lead dog.
Such a big, goofy character, Murphy is ready and willing to make the perfect companion. Murphy will need to be the centre of attention in his new home and for that reason, we are seeking a home without existing pets or kids.
Everyone who meets Murphy instantly falls in love with his character and wickedly handsome good looks!
Murphy's perfect forever home would be somewhere with lots of space to roam, so a home in an outer suburban area or rural property would suit him perfectly.
If I sound perfect for you, please complete the short adoption application form in the attached link, please note this is the only way your application will be considered: https://homelesshounds.com.au/adopt/dogs
Medical notes
Murphy is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
He is in perfect health.
