One-legged Lavender Latte and Syrup are available for adoption!
Lavender Latte was found by a kind truckie at a stop, who noticed she was very skinny and unable to compete with the other pigeons for food. Her right leg had been somehow amputated close to the body, and had healed over well - she just couldn't hop fast enough for food. Since coming in she's been looking much healthier; he's plumper and has a lovely sheen to her feathers. She's happy and can fly well.
Syrup came in with a broken leg - which has healed up perfectly. He fell instantly in love with Lavander Latte at a pigeon party one day.
With a one legged-bird, you will need to be an owner who checks her foot for poop regularly, so that it doesn't bild up dry on there and hurt her. Giving her lots of space to move in and an accessible bord bath should cut down on that responsibility a lot, but you'll stick have to check.
