About Lucky ~ 2.5yr Old American Staffy(On Trial 15/12)
Look at this handsome boy!
Introducing Lucky, a beautiful 2.5 year old black and white American Staffy. Lucky loves nothing more than laying in the sun and giving cuddles.
Lucky is not your typical 2.5 year old staffy breed boy. He is calm and quiet. Although he will bark if there is someone at the fence. He stops when told everything is ok. Lucky doesn’t dig or chew but loves a cuddle and is learning to walk on the lead. He doesn’t play with toys yet but we are working on this.
Lucky gets pretty excited when first seeing you and will jump up or knock you down if you’re not expecting it, just for cuddles and kisses. Lucky has only ever lived outside and since being in care sleeps in an enclosed outdoor area. He has been welcomed inside where he likes to think he rules the roost, happily lounging with you after exploring. He hasn’t had any real toilet training, although he hasn’t had any accidents inside yet.
Currently Lucky lives with an 11 year old female staffy and a 3 year old human, he is great with the staffy but can be a bit rough with the child. For this reason we recommend older children if any. No male or dominant dogs as he came into care after one of many fights requiring surgery. Since then Lucky hasn’t shown any signs of aggression or need to defend himself at all even when out in public on a lead.
Lucky’s yard needs secure fences 1.5m high, be of colourbond or equivalent material and have no small holes or gaps. He will not suit rural settings and requires tall and strong fencing to ensure he has a safe and secure environment to live and thrive.
Lucky spends most of the day relaxing in the sun or in bed with his foster sister. Lucky has never been an only dog but if he is welcomed in with the family and someone home more often than not should be fine.
Lucky’s adoption fee is $500. Fully vaccinated and desexed. Lucky is located in Beresfield NSW. If you’re interested in adopting Lucky please complete the adoption form https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
