Meet your new best friend. Kevin is a friendly, chill dude who just wants to hang out with his people. Wondering where Kevin is? If he's not right behind you, call and listen for his soft chirp from nearby. He's lived a pretty hard life in the past, so he'll need some time and space to acclimatise and will likely do best in a home with no small children. He can be a bit anxious, but once you've earned his trust, he'll want nothing more than your company and will be sleeping on your bed in no time. He loves nice gentle pats and scratches, and is quick to let you know when he's had enough. Mealtime is a social event for this big lad and he prefers to have his people around when he's eating. He is just learning to play with toys and seems be be warming up to play time quickly. Kevin is a beautiful cat with a sweet, sociable personality, who charms everyone he meets. He shows a lot of interest in other cats in the shelter, so may be able to live with another FIV cat. He will need to be an indoor only cat as he is FIV +ve, but as long as you're there with him, that suits him fine.
