When you first meet Benny he is quite shy, but will warm to you if given some space. In the few days he has been in foster care he has started to show his true fun-loving character. He loves to chase his indoor ball down the corridor (yes he has indoor and outdoor toys).

Benny loves cars rides and walks. He has a little way to go with his lead training, as he pulls a bit. Being a smart boy he will learn very quickly.

Benny is living with two other small dogs with no issues. He is not comfortable with larger dogs.

He sleeps beside his foster mum and dad’s bed all night and is house trained. Benny regards himself as a good watchdog and will let you know if anything is amiss in the neighbourhood.

Benny can be a possessive with his toys so might not be suitable around small children, who may not understand his signals.

Benny is still learning the rules, so will need an experienced dog owner who is prepared to be consistent with teaching him boundaries. He would benefit by being part of an active family with someone at home, one that can include him in their activities.
