About Lilly
Meet Lilly!
Lilly is a three year old female German Shepherd.
Lilly is a lovely happy girl who still thinks she's a puppy! Because she doesn't know her size and is quite playful, Lilly will need an experienced owner who can handle her energy.
She has gotten along with some dogs here at the sanctuary and when introduced to the cats here, showed a fair bit of interest and will possibly chase them.
Lilly travels well in the car whenever we've taken her to vet appointments. She loves to go for walks but does pull on the lead a bit and will require some further basic training. Lillys favorite thing to do is play fetch with her ball!
Lilly is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, worm and flea treated

Medical notes
Lilly Passed her medical examination. Due to her size and breed, Lilly had a routine hip X-Ray to check for hip dysplasia.
Vet has noted that Lillys hips look good at the moment, but are on the border of hip dysplasia, with the centre of the femoral heads sitting a smidgen outside the acetabulum (hip sockets) so something for her new owners to be aware of and may want to get her re-xrayed in future with a specialist providing a hip score. Clinically she has no issue and seems to move fine on her hips.

Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
