About Harper
Hello my name is Harper
I am a beautiful, sweet girl who enjoys some fun in life and can be a complete goof ball when it suits me.
I have just turned 5 years old and still love to have fun.
I am a Pomeranian x staffy and weigh 10.2kgs
Let me tell you about myself….now where to begin. I love walks or if you’re into running them I’m your girl, I’m not used to a lot of positive attention so it can all be a bit strange to me, particularly when you are touching my collar. I’ll jump out of the way but I’m most apologetic. I don’t mean anything by it I’m just getting used to affection.
My foster mum says I secretly (not so secretly now) love being close to my people and sidle up for a pat. During storms I’ll be glued to your side. I can jump so secure fencing is a must and also I have also once given my foster mum a heart attack by running past her through the gate. It was so much fun running up and down the street playing tag with her…although she did swear just a teeny bit. (I promised I haven't done it since but)
I’m not a fussy eater and very responsive to positive training/food rewards. I even know how to sit, lie and shake. In fact my foster mum says I’m super smart and with a bit more training I’ll be it and bit!!!
I am currently in care with other small breed dogs like me and i love to play and wrestle and run - I have been known to get super excited and accidentally bounce my fur sisters off the bed - they were not amused.
I am not tested around cats and my foster mum mentioned something about yeah I'm thinking no....
I am a girl who enjoys the luxury of an indoor life and have great indoor manners using the doggy door when I need to go outside for the toilet. I do like to spend some time outside doing my thing so I would like to have the best of both worlds - inside and outside access when I want.
My ideal home would be with someone who is home more often then not and who likes to do outdoor things with me, as I always like to have fun.
I am good with older children eg 12 and over
So please send thru an adoption application for me if you think we could have some fun together thru life.
** Please note applications will close Tuesday 23rd November 2021 at 5.30pm

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
