Pepito and Matisse prove that opposites attract! This handsome pair were both several months old when they met but they hit it off immediately. Their polar opposite personalities balance each other out and make for delightful company.

Matisse is a confident and snuggly chap. He always wants to be the centre of attention and loves to be as close to you as possible. He enjoys being held like a baby and will reward any pats with huge rumbly purrs. He will fall over for belly rubs at the slightest provocation. When Pepito doesn’t feel like playing, Matisse is perfectly happy to entertain himself. He will chase toys, roll around, or splash in his water bowl! Matisse always jumps into new situations head first, however he’s quick to fetch Pepito and encourage him to get involved. These two frequently chirp and chat with each other, making sure they always know where the other is. They never stray too far, wherever one goes the other follows.

Unlike Matisse, Pepito has always been a timid kitten. After losing his sister he reverted to being particularly skittish, until Matisse came along! Pepito can still be shy, but with a little patience you’ll see his gentle loving side. When he’s surprised, his reflexive response is to hiss and hide, but don’t worry he’s not aggressive. When he’s feeling confident he can be very curious and likes to know what you’re doing. He’ll also politely ask for pats, waiting until you are ready the same way he’d like you to wait for him! You might even be rewarded with the sweetest gentle purr. It may take a little extra work but it’s so worth it and feels incredibly special when you hear it. He’s recently made lots of progress growing his confidence around people and we have high hopes that with enough time and love he will continue to blossom. Pepito loves playing with toys, anything that rolls or wiggles is a joy to chase and pounce on. The way to his heart is with yummy treats and games - which makes him easy to train and work with. We’re currently working on getting him used to being picked up, and although he’s still very wary we think that with persistence this will change.

Pepito needs a patient family who is willing to take things slow and work with him over time, but don’t worry, while you’re waiting Matisse’s confidence will more than make up for his wariness.

The ideal home for these boys would be an adult/teenager/older respectful children.
Pepito has not been tested with dogs.
