Ellie

Why hello there!

My name is Ellie! I have recently come into care with the beautiful team at HHAR after my human sister became severely allergic to me! I was so devastated to leave my family, but I am learning the people and animals here are pretty awesome too!

I take a little bit of time to get used to new surroundings, but once I know I can trust you I become your furry shadow! I love nothing best than getting in the way of my foster parents work at their desk or demanding scritches whilst they watch tv on the couch.

I have always lived with many cats, and am a friendly little girl. But I have so much beautiful fur that I don't really want to rough it all up with rumble and tumble play! I prefer the finer things to life like good food, sunshine, and humans to show me love!

I have lived with kidlets, but I need them to know how to respect me and my space. There are some sleepy big Greyhounds that my mum calls her speed noodles. I don't know what she is on about! But I definitely don't like them. They sleep all day, but they are just too big for my liking.

I am a lady of course, so I never miss when going to the bathroom. I love good quality food to keep my coat in top condition! Speaking of which, being so long, I do need regular grooming. I love being brushed, and I suppose its easier for me to clean when some areas get a little trim. I definitely prefer going to a professional when it comes time to shed my winter locks!
