About Sammi ~ 5yr Old Staffy(On Yrial 26/11/21)
Sammi is a 5year old female Staffy with a big grin and a beautiful personality. She loves
people of all ages and is great with kids. She greets everyone with an infectious grin and a
tail wag so big it makes her whole body shake.
Sammi loves a good wrestle and would really love to have a friend to play with. She gets
along well with other dogs but can be quite boisterous so would be best with another dog
who is eager to play. Sammi is currently an outside dog, and if she has a friend to play with
she is very happy outside, but she wouldn’t mind being let inside for some cuddles on
occasion.
Sammi loves people of all sizes, but she can get a bit over excited when she meets new
people and dogs, so can be a bit jumpy, and doesn’t realize quite how heavy she is, so kids
older than 6 would be best. She loves to be hand fed and loves a good cuddle, she also
LOVES a good game of fetch, walks and trips in the car.
Sammi is a good girl, who likes to please, but she will still need some ongoing training. She
can sit and responds to her name when called, but will need some more recall training and
to learn to stay, wait and be patient. She can be a bit rough on the lead and will need
ongoing lead training to help make walks more calm.
Sammi will need good fences as she likes to try and find ways to be with people, and will
escape through wire fencing, so good sturdy fencing will be required.
For more information on Sammi, please contact his foster carer on their email
