Did you know that Tortoiseshell cats are considered good luck all over the world!
ABOUT LEXI:
Lexi would make the purrrfect addition to any family! She is a beautiful, confident, sweet and affectionate kitty. She adores human company and just wants love and cuddles!
While in foster care, Lexi has enjoyed being around and cuddling up next to her humans. She can be very playful and loves interactive toys and chasing lasers!
She has been very friendly with new people and has easily made friends with other cats. While she does love getting attention, she is also able to be independent and happy to just chill out.
Lexi is ready to fill your home with lots of love! She adores pats, chin scratches, belly rubs and cuddles. She previously lived with a family of 5 (mum, dad and three children), and is very patient and friendly with children.
Lexi is fully litter trained, happy to travel in a car (in her carrier) and is generally quite adaptable and easygoing.
RESCUE STORY:
Lexi was surrendered into our care by her previous family. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the family were experiencing financial difficulties and did not want to neglect or cause any stress for Lexi. Lexi’s previous family adopted her as a kitten and kept her as an indoor only cat. She also lived with another cat.
IDEAL FAMILY:
Lexi would do well with a loving family, who can provide her with her own space initially while settling. When meeting new cats, Lexi does need a bit scared and needs to have her own secure space.
She is shy initially, but quickly comes out of her shell. Within the first day in foster care, she was exploring the home and interacting with us. She loves people, and adores chin scratches, pats and belly rubs! She is a purring machine!
She currently likes to sleep with her human in bed, in her cat tree or cuddled up in her cat cave.
Lexi is an absolute sweetheart, who is just looking for a family to love!
