About Storm
Meet the lovely Storm, he is currently looking for his forever home, but this lad needs a very special home, one with lots of love and patience to give this very special boy the best life. You see our dear Storm is completely deaf.
Whilst this doesn't slow him down in the least, it does mean he needs a home that understands some of the challenges and behaviors that this involves.
Although he does not have any hearing Storm does have some basic training under his paw. He knows some hand signals and in time with the right training would easily learn more.
Storm is a working dog breed so he is incredibly intelligent and has high energy levels. With this in mind he will require constant exercise and enrichment to stop him becoming bored and destructive.
Please bear in mind that whilst he is a working dog breed, he is not a suitable match for someone looking for a farm dog as being deaf, heavy machinery is a real danger to him.
Storm is a very loyal companion and enjoys sticking by your side on walks as well as playing catch and with the right family he will be a loving companion.
Adoption details
Taking on a pet is a long-term commitment. Before adopting it is essential to research what type of animal would best suit your home and lifestyle.
All animals waiting for a new home can be found on the shelter website, or by visiting the shelter in person. All animals available for adoption are ready to be adopted straight away.

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Campaspe Animal Shelter is making some operational changes, in place from Friday, 27 March.
Our team of staff and volunteers will continue to care for all animals at the shelter. Access to our services will now be by appointment only:
- Adoptions
Monday to Friday we will have two sessions a day available
10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm
Saturday and Sunday
10am – 12pm
- All other services such as, surrenders, stray animals, reclaims and microchipping
o Monday to Thursday 10am – 6pm
o Friday 10am – 4.45pm
o Saturday 9am – 1pm
o Sunday and public holidays 10am – 12.30pm
