About Waffle
Meet the wonderful Waffle!
When she first came into our care she was timid and shy but under the guidance of her fantastic foster carers she has blossomed into the girl she is today. Waffle has become more confident and settled into her environment. She loves her family and is incredibly sweet. She’ll take as many cuddles and belly rubs that you will give her and will snuggle up with you on the couch in the evenings after a day of fun.
Waffle is currently living with a similarly sized dog (around 20-25kg) and they love to play together. She enjoys playing tug with rope toys and playing with her doggy friend. Waffle is very friendly when meeting other dogs out and about and she enjoys playing chasing games with other dogs at the park and her recall is very good too!. She is a moderately active dog who will require good daily exercise and some mental stimulation to keep her occupied.
During her time in care, Waffle has been learning lots of skills. She is very intelligent and thrives off training. She is toilet trained, can sit, lay down, touch, spin and is working on other new commands like give and leave it. Waffle is crate trained and sleeps throughout the night in her crate and is happy to pop in there if her family go out for a couple of hours and leave her home alone.
We are looking for a dog experienced family with or without another playful dog of similar size to Waffle. Her owners need to be committed to continuing her training as she still has moments of puppy silliness that creep in. Her new family should be happy to make her an integral part of the family, include her in all the outings and adventures and ensure she remains well socialised, happy & healthy.
Waffle has a very sweet temperament but would be better suited to older more dog savvy children, or an adult only home. She will need to be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed or crate to sleep inside at night. At this stage she has not been tested with cats or pocket pets.
If you would like to make the wonderful Waffle a part of your family then please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the next step.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
