Hi everyone, I am Cosmo and in exactly one week I will be 2 years old. All I want for my Birthday is my own family who will love me, teach me, and keep me safe. Yes, I know I am not a Great Dane but I am super thankful to the ladies at the rescue for coming to my aid.

My foster Mum would have kept me, but she already has two dogs and I wasn’t very fond of her male dog or chickens. Cats would also not go well with me. I really need a home of my own. I do require a human who is home a lot as I can very stressed without company, a really mellow female dog would also be an added bonus!

I am too big and strong to be around small children, but teenagers would be ok.
I don’t jump but give me something I can climb, and I am over and out. I do need a home with high fences. I don’t bark much, in fact, I don’t make a lot of noise at all except when I eat and I looove to eat. I am learning manners and getting better all the time however I still snatch a little. I am a strong dog and have not had very much experience walking on a lead or halti, so I pull and need some training in that area. I do love walks though.

To be honest, my life until I came into foster care has not been a happy one. I haven’t had the opportunity to grow-up with people who love and respect me which is why I do need some training. However, I am very smart and learn quickly and I love being taught new things.
What I can give you is a lot of love, loyalty, companionship and laughs. I will learn all the things I need to know to be a great dog, the best dog ever.
