What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• I have lived with children and would love someone who will throw the ball for me, I'll even return it to them every time. I can play this game for HOURS.
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• Large breed experience is a MUST
• I LOVE other dogs but I'm a very energetic and playful dog, so I need a doggy playmate who will match my energy levels and playfulness but I'm also happy to live alone.
• I LOVE water and would love to have my very own clam pool to laze around in.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• NO CATS, NO POCKET PETS AND NO POULTRY - I find them way too exciting and will bark at and chase them

My best features:
• Very playful
• Crate trained
• Wiggle butt
• I can sit, shake hands & stay
• I know my basic doggie commands
• I LOVE drives in the car and am very well behaved, no matter how long the trip is.
• Happy to hang out with other dogs.
• I LOVE toys, playing fetch and a game of tug-o-war
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Love to snooze on the couch
• Exuberant & full of beans
• I LOVE the water and will splash about in my water bowl, play with the hose and swim in the basin/river

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I am VERY strong on lead and will need to be walked with a martingale collar or halti.
• I can be quiet boisterous and do jump up on people so will need training to stop this.

AN ADOPTION CAN'T BE APPROVED IF YOU HAVE CANNOT COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET EDDIE IN PERSON.
