About Sadie
Sadie MUST be rehomed with at least one gentle but fun doggy companion to share her life with. She must also be rehomed within the Sydney Metropolitan area.
Sadie is truly something special. She is a miniature Australian Shepherd who is shy but a soulful girl who you can't help but fall head over heels in love with.
This gorgeous Mini American Shepherd, sadly missed out on that crucial early socialisation, she grew up in kennels and moving from the life she knew into a 'normal' home environment was a big transition for her. Sadie is looking for a family who will accept her for who she is and not try and make her conform to their idea of a 'normal' dog.
At home, Sadie is relaxed and calm, she enjoys pottering around the garden, snoozing on the couch and playing with her toys, she requires a very quiet and calm adult-only home. Sadie loves to play with the resident dogs in the home and will require a gentle but fun doggy companion to share her life with.
Sadie does not enjoy getting out and about, whilst we mostly subscribe to dogs needing their daily exercise, Sadie is not comfortable being walked at all, so her new family must understand she isn't going to be a social butterfly they can take to the beach or the local cafe, this girl is a homebody through and through! Sadie does however enjoy checking out the scenery from the comfort of the car, so her foster family take her on little drives for a fun adventure.
Her coat is a heavy, double coat that requires regular brushing to stay mat-free and looking fab, she thoroughly enjoys her beauty treatments. A healthy, fresh food diet is important to keep her happy and healthy.
Sadie is truly a beautiful girl, she is soft natured and kind and for the right family will be an absolute angel. The perfect family for Sadie will be one who understands that she is who she is and take the time to let her settle into a new environment. Sadie is NOT suitable for apartment living, ideally, her new home will be in a quiet neighbourhood.
If you would like to meet Sadie, please send as much information as possible about your family, lifestyle, home, working hours, existing dog, etc. so that we can see if Sadie is a good match for you.
