Swift has been beginning to learn some simple commands while in foster care. She will sit for her meal times and enjoys brief training sessions. She can be easily distracted during her training as she is super alert and notices every sound and movement around her. She quickly engages if you gain her attention first.
ENRICHMENT
Swift loves finding new things to play with. True to her working breed, she is active and energetic and loves to be engaged and occupied. She needs a home with plenty of room for exercise and humans willing to keep her exercised and stimulated In foster care, she loves playing with balls and when asked âWhere is the ball?â will go to the basket and find it. As she is still a puppy, she loves chewy toys, squeaky toys, rope toys and balls. She loves playing chase with her foster dog brother. Swift enjoys a pig's ear as a chewy treat and enjoys schmackos as treats when being taught new things. Her favourite thing in the world is belly rubs from anyone who is willing to give them.
SLEEPING
Swift sleeps well both inside and outside. She sleeps through the night and has not had any overnight toileting accidents. When tired, she will take herself to bed.
SOCIALISATION
Swift is independent and enjoys exploring. She is not shy. She loves the company of her humans and while in foster care she has been with teenage children. She loves meeting new people and she loves a good belly rub and pats. Swift enjoys going for a walk and has been walking well on the lead. True to her breed she watches for anything that moves so will bark at things moving such as bike wheels. She is dog social having been around other dogs in foster care. She loves to tumble with her foster dog brother. Swift enjoys a spot of gardening and is excellent at finding new smells to explore. She loves to jump up for a pat so this will need to be apart of her ongoing puppy training.

She also enjoys boiled chicken and rice. She has a sardine in oil added to one meal per day for additional oils to keep her coat and skin healthy. .
