About Stella ( Was Shiloh )
Meet our very special pooch Shiloh who is looking for a new loving home.
This beautiful girl is looking for a home where she will be an integral part of the family and be spoiled with all the love and TLC that she can get. She is such an intelligent dog, extremely loyal, loving and will be an amazing companion to the right owner.
Shiloh LOVES her doggie toys- her current favourite is a teddy bear that squeaks when squeezed, some of her toys can unexpectedly self-combust but when we ask Shiloh how it happened she always has the same puzzled look on her face... go figure!
Shiloh is an amazing help around the kitchen! If you drop some food on the floor she will not hesitate to 'vacuum' it up for you, and if you leave food unattended on the bench she tends to take the opportunity to help you by 'removing it' from the bench and into her tummy... she is such a helpful pup!
This sweetheart is house trained and has some basic obedience training, ongoing training is a good idea in her new home to learn some more doggy manners and be her best doggy self.
Shiloh had painful elbows in both her front legs when she came into our care, so specialist surgery was performed to correct these. She is doing much better now and will need a few more weeks of rest/limited exercise and then a slow reintroduction to normal activity. Ongoing, Shiloh will need joint care management (such as joint supplements etc) and our vet team are happy to discuss her needs in detail to any new adopter.
The ideal home would be an adult only home or one with school age children or older. She lived with another dog but due to her medical history it is best that she isn't with a dog that plays too rough or one that is a little more subdued.
Could Shiloh be your next best friend? If so, she promises to shower her new family with all the love she possibly can!

**Application Process**
When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption centre in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you.
