RJ ~ 12yr Old Fox Terrier(On Trial 21/11/21)

This is RJ a 12 year old black and white fox terrier. He weighs about 11kg. RJ is a gentle loving very affectionate boy who can suffer from separation anxiety if left alone. Therefore he would be suited to a retired person or someone who is home a lot. I use a thunder shirt for him when I have to go out and it seems to work. RJ gets along with all my other doggies. He has no aggression whatsoever, just a big sook. He loves to jump on your lap although he is little big for that. He sleeps beautifully all night and has managed to maneuver himself onto my bed.

When RJ first came to me he was inconsolable. Pacing and crying missing his owner who surrendered him. After a day and gentle massages he settled and started to relax. Whoever adopts him may experience this with him for the first day or so as he adjusts to his new lifestyle.

If you give this boy a cuddle and pat he gives you back so much more. He just wants to be loved. RJ would make a loyal loving giving companion to whoever adopts him. He will be your little shadow wanting to be by your side at all times. RJ likes a walk and travels well in the car.

RJ must be an inside dog. A little bonus with RJ is that he doesn’t seem to shed hair, which still has me dumbfounded.
