About Ritabelle
Ritabelle was found living in an inner-city laneway where she was continually harassed by every male cat in the neighbourhood. She is now desexed and in a wonderful foster home where she is learning to live among humans. We feel she was once owned, probably when she was a kitten, then abandoned or something along those lines, as she is easily handled if you are confident enough and have an understanding of not-quite-domesticated cats. She is still very timid and wary, but appears to be loving her new life living in comfort with people who understand. She is progressing well but still has a way to go, for this reason she would be best suited to an adult-only environment with a person or people who will be able to give her a lot of attention. She loves to be petted and purrs very quickly and she often plays in the evening to release her young cat energy. She likes to be in a cat bed with a ‘roof’ to feel totally safe, and she loves to look for other hidey holes in the house to hide out in. She is clean and uses the litter box daily. She is estimated to be approximately 1 year old.

Adoption details
Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email par.adoptions@gmail.com if you would like further information.
Dogs and cats are rehomed on two weeks trial to ensure that both the person adopting them and the rescuer are satisfied that the dog / cat / animal is happy and adapting well to their new home and this can be extended on request
Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
