About George ~ 6yr Old Labrador X
George 6 year old Labrador x
Meet George! He is an adorable, happy, healthy and playful boy who is very strong and has a lovely nature. Although we were told George is 6 years old, he plays more like a 3 year old.
George is a loyal and loving boy who loves to run and chase and would love a big yard to run around in. As George spent a lot of time caged up at his previous home, he is very interested in the world outside his backyard. Although he can jump a 5 foot (1.6m) gate, he returns quickly when called and once bonded, he will be happy to remain with the family unit.
George is a fit and active dog who gets along well with people and other dogs. George would make a perfect companion for a young, active and strong family, as he loves lots of exercise and playing with children. This dog’s main aims and passions in life are just to have as much fun and give as much love as possible.
Although George has good manners and recall and is learning basic commands such as, sit, bed, stay and shake, he needs a firm and strong hand. Being food motivated, responsive and eager to learn, George’s training will progress in leaps and bounds. George loves his walks, is good on a lead and would make a great companion for the right family.
With his smooth , extra shiny coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing, George is very low maintenance. George would be happy in a household with canine playmates. Unknown around cats and other small animals.
For more information, or to meet George, please contact Nora on or 0418 402 150 or email: dogrescuemudgee@gmail.com. George is in foster care in Mudgee, NSW.
