Hello there, my name is Scooter!

I'm a big, friendly, goofy boy looking for a home that has had big dogs before! Similarly, if there are kids at home, they should be experienced with large dogs and 16yrs+... I mean well you see, but sometimes I get so very happy and all my bounce just comes out at once!
I'm am still quite a young gentleman and I haven't received much training in my previous home. The staff have been working with me to learn basic manners and skills such as 'sit' and I am responding really well to this. I would benefit from ongoing training in my new home as training is also a great way to help me settle in my new environment and build the bond between me and my new owners. I'd like to be taken on daily walks, trips to the park or even the local cafe. I'd appreciate open access to both indoor and outdoor areas and have lots of toys to keep me entertained.

To make sure I am the perfect match for you, it is important that I meet all doggy members of the family. I am playful with other dogs but I can sometimes play a bit rough. A meet and greet at the shelter will show if we are the right energy match and that we get along like a house on fire! Another dog may also help me relax when my human family isn't at home hanging out but I would fine living in your home as the only dog.
