Chappy

Hi there,

My name is Chappy and I am a very happy chappy indeed.

I am a sweet staffy boy looking for a family to call my very own. I have a few special things that I need in my home to make it the perfect place for me.

I would love a home where I can be the center of attention. I have walked along side some dogs in the shelter, but have never been interested in play and would much rather do my own thing. I have previously lived with another dog, but like any typical siblings we did not always get along, so for my next home I would prefer to be the only dog in the house.

I need an owner who has had previous experience with dogs who can be a bit unsure of new situations and people. I need someone to be able to identify that just because I may roll over and it looks like I want belly rubs, I do not always want belly rubs...but instead it is just my way of saying that I am uncomfortable.

I would be best suited to a household where there is no kids under 12, as loud noises can make me nervous and sometimes I prefer to have my own space rather than being patted all the time. My ideal family would be someone that is home more often than not.

I am an active boy who would love to be left with lots of enrichment if you do have to leave me at home by myself, but would much prefer a family that is home more often than not. On a hot summers day I would love to cool off in the hose. I have previously had fun chasing smaller animals so to keep everyone safe I would be a lot happier without pocket pets.

I would love to be apart of the family and have access to both inside and outside. I would love to have a safe space set up inside that I can go too if there are too many loud noises or I feel uncomfortable. I would do best with a structured routine and some predictability of what each day brings.
