About Susie
Can you open your home and heart to this young female German Shepherd who has come into our care.
Susie as recently come into care after her former owner sadly passed away and she found herself in a country animal shelter.
Susie is a very pretty and affectionate two year old stock coated pure bred German Shepherd, who is in our care at Oberon, NSW.
Susie has lived with other German Shepherds and could become a faithful friend for a social male of similar age.
We would conduct initial introductions to ensure the two dogs are compatible.
Having just turned two years of age Susie is still a bouncy girl who would benefit from continued lead and basic obedience.
This darling girl needs a loving home with consistency, firm boundaries and structure to her day. We are seeking a home with experienced Shepherd owners who understand the needs of this loyal breed and who will follow through with continued training and provide Susie with inclusion in their home and daily exercise.
Susie has not been tested with pocket pets, cats or small dogs.
Due to her young age and energy level we would recommend a home with older children who are dog savvy and would not be deterred if Susie jumped up in exuberance and gave them dog kisses.
To show your interest in Susie please apply for this stunning young Shepherd.
Medical notes
Suzie is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and has been wormed, flea treated.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
