About Hamish & Andy - Located in St Kilda
Gorgeous Bonded Pair! Please read medical notes before applying.
Hamish
Like a goblin dressed in a teddy bear outfit, little Hamish is the cutest kitty that you will ever see! Hamish is equal parts cute and sass, and while he loves to snuggle with his human on the bed, approach during the day at your own peril! You will likely be met with a gentle swipe, a nibble, or simply him running away. While he has a very affectionate and sweet side, he has a funny little curmudgeonly personality, his new human friends will have to be OK with getting pats from him on his own schedule. He will need to go to a home that has calm energy in order to feel comfortable. Hamish mostly communicates in little trills, rather than meows, which is adorably cute.
Once little Hamish is comfortable in his new home, Hamish will spend most of his daytime asleep, playing with his toys, chasing his beloved brother Andy, and accepting pats (if he feels like them). Hamish is a bit of a chewer and will need a lot of soft toys for him to chew.
Andy
Little Andy is a dream boy! Very vocal, affectionate and attentive to his humans, he makes up in sociability what his little brother Hamish lacks. Andy loves to lay on his human friends, purrs like a V8 motor, follows his humans around the house to see what they’re up to, and loves playing with his dangly and laser toys. Andy is the confident and social one out of the brothers, and adapts well to new environments. He is curious, playful and affectionate.
Andy is moderately energetic and loves to chase his little brother Hamish around, but like his brother, will spend the majority of the day time asleep. Nighttime is when he comes alive and looks for playtime as well as snuggle time from his favourite humans.
Together Hamish and Andy are the perfect pair, ready to be loved, snuggled and entertained by some new human friends.

Medical notes
Hamish suffers from a permanent head tilt after suffering from a chronic ear infection. It currently does not bother him. He might be prone to developing ear infections in the future. To help reduce the incidents of these we recommend keeping Hamish indoors only and on a low allergen diet as allergies in the environment and diet can trigger ear and skin infections.
Andy's eyes occasionally get weepy. They usually resolve on their own after a few days with some minor cleaning.
