About Momo
Hi I am Momo!
I’m a middle aged gentleman looking for a chilled out home with my family around for most of the day. I moved from country Vic into my foster home in Melbourne where I have settled into my new lifestyle very well. I arrived with my long time pal, a cat named Mimi, but it was discovered that we were better off as single agents rather than an ongoing double act!
I am generally super chilled and am excellent with other dogs and cats. I would really love another furry friend to live with! A couple of short walks followed by my meals is my favourite way to spend the days. I also love chilling on the sofa, playing with my toys or cuddling up with my family.
Affection more than food is my motivation. I have a few tricks up my paw, such as ‘sit’, ‘shake’ and ‘lie down’. So far I have spent 3-4 hours on my own at times and tolerated this well, but my preference would be for not too much more than this.
My recent change of circumstances have frazzled me a bit, and as such I took a while to get used to toileting in the right place in my foster home, but this has improved significantly in recent weeks, but my new family will need to continue to work on this. I also get a bit freaked out if I am handled or patted spontaneously, so a home with very young children would not be ideal for me.
I know I will make a wonderful addition to any family and with some ongoing TLC, I will be the perfect life long companion!
Am I the right addition to your family?
