About Pumpkin ~ 3yr Old Kelpie X(Rev. Apps 7/2/22)
This gorgeous girl is Pumpkin, 3 year old kelpie x.
Pumpkin was rescued from a property where she lived tied to a chain, so she is still learning not to be nervous of the world around her- and who can blame her! With people, Pumkin is a little reserved at first but once she is comfortable with you she is so loving and gives lots of cuddles.
She loves nothing more to be with you snuggled up on the lounge watching tv or out playing tug / fetch. Whilst she loves to be with you she’ll often go off to do her own thing and come and check back in so she can be very independent.
Pumpkin is an active girl and would love to be your exercise buddy. Being nervous outside the home, pumpkin’s ideal exercise would be quiet areas, bushwalks and adventures. However, throwing the ball in the yard and training sessions tire her out easily too.
Pumpkin is fine on her own with full time workers, currently she is happy when set up with enrichment whenever possible (i.e. wobblers, good puzzles, kongs etc).
Although she has attended doggy daycare with other dogs and is fine for short periods, Pumpkin has not coped well living with another dog and needs to be an only dog in her new home.
She is scared of thunderstorms and loud noises such as fireworks but has medication that helps her during this.
She love any and all food which helps with training. She is crate trained and has her basic commands down pat.
This beautiful girl is looking to be the centre of your world.
