About Vader ~ 6yr Old Staffy X Mastiff(On trial 7/12/21)
Don’t be fooled by the grumpy face! This guy is one big love bug. Meet Vader, 6 year old staffy x mastiff. Vader is looking for a forever home where he can lap up lots of human attention.
This guy can be super chilled, happy to lay on or near the lounge with you. But he also loves some room to run and he will show you his impressive zoomies! He will take as much exercise as you offer but is happy with a big walk every day, followed by lazing about.
Vader previously lived with a senior lab and was very close with him. He would benefit from living with another calm dog for company. But he isn’t a dog to be left in the yard even with fur company- Vader needs to be welcome inside to be close to his humans and part of family life. He has been enjoying meeting new people with his foster carer and wins people over quickly.
He is food driven and learns quickly, and he will look to his new owner to help set boundaries and be his best self. His carer is working on Vader settling in his place and being comfortable on his own. Vader walks well on lead but a confident experienced owner will help him perfect these skills.
Vader would be great with older kids especially if they have lots of pats to give! He isn’t well suited to babies and little kids. Cats are a big no- resident or visiting cats won’t suit him.
Vader will need solid 6ft fencing where he is unable to go over or underneath to explore.
This guy will be your best friend!
