Susie

*susie is currently trialling her new home* beautiful susie was recently surrendered to sarg as her previous owners only had a small yard and didn’t have the time to give her the energetic lifestyle and training that these working breeds need especially while they’re young. Not quite 18 months old susie’s a happy, healthy, affectionate dog who enjoys pats and cuddles and being part of the action. Susie is terrific with other dogs and has a ball playing with them. She also plays well with children though older ones would be better as she may bowl over the little ones with her friendly exuberance!!

susie likes getting out and about either in the car or going for walks on a lead, which she didn’t have much experience with so is now learning to “heel” instead of pulling. This gorgeous girl likes checking out her surrounds or meeting new people and she absolutely loves water whether its playing in her doggie pool or running around under the sprinkler. Daily walks, a good sized yard with secure fencing and bones and toys to keep her stimulated would make susie a very happy dogl!

susie is toilet-trained and would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with a doggie friend for companionship or in a home where she won’t be left alone for long periods. Susie could do with some more obedience training (she knows the basics such as “sit” and “down”) and being an intelligent border collie cross she may even thrive at doggy sports such as flyball or agility.
