Misty

Misty is a beautiful tricolour pup, born on or around 10 August 2021. She is one of a litter of six, which we've called The Nature Litter.

An Aussie girl through and through, Misty is predominantly kelpie with dollops of border collie and stumpy tail cattle dog. She's what we like to call a "belpie blue".

Like all kelpie mixes, Misty is super sweet, highly intelligent, alert and very trainable.

Kelpie mixes can make great family pets, loyal companions and excellent watchdogs. They have an exceptionally high IQ and may get into mischief if left to their own devices. They require plenty of exercise, and will become bored if stuck in a backyard for lenthy periods without stimulation or company.

The secret to bringing the best out in a kelpie mix is to keep her occupied and well loved.
A kelpie's greatest joy is the love and attention of an active owner or family, while her greatest disappointment is inactivity and lack of attention.

Kelpie mixes are eager to please and extremely loyal. Wherever their humans are, that's where they'll be too - whether that's out in a boat, in the back of a car, going for a walk, training for agility competitions or herding, or just watching television in the evening.

To be happy and content, Misty will need plenty of vigorous daily exercise and play. Secure fencing is a must.
