About Dill~ 7 week old kitten (on trial 16/11/2021)
Meet Dill,
Dill and her brother Pickle were born on the 25th of September. Their mum is a beloved family pet who has since been spayed with the help of DRN.
Dill has definitely inherited her mum’s sweet personality. She loves affection, purring away as she gets accepts pats everywhere from anyone.
If you look closely, she has a beautiful tabby pattern through her soft fur.
Her foster carers have looked after many kittens and are certain she is something very special. Dill is confident and spunky - a brave explorer who gets up to all sorts of antics.
She’s very playful and loves toys. She also loves climbing her tower and wrestling her brother.
It would be wonderful if Dill could get adopted alongside her brother Pickle, as kittens thrive in pairs - this article by “The Kitten Lady” to learn why.http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens
There are two young adult cats in her foster home who Dill is confident with. She has also been exposed to two dogs, and would be fine in a home with a cat-friendly or gentle dog.
As she’s so confident, she would also be ok with gentle young children, who can respect her small size and need to rest.
Nothing negative can be said about this little kitten, she’s going to be a cracker cat!
Pickle and Dill are using their litter perfect and are eating good-quality kitten biscuits.
DRN adopts cats and kittens out to Indoor homes only. Indoor means that cats don’t free roam, but can have access to the outdoors through an enclosure or other secure area.
Their adoption fee is $250 each or $450 as a pair. They are currently in foster care in Waratah West, near the University of Newcastle.
DRN kittens are vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea treated prior to adoption. They will need to be adopted to a home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast region to be returned to a DRN vet prior to four months old to be desexed - this cost is included in the adoption fee.
