This gorgeous pair are looking for their forever home:
Marshall is a friendly boy towards people, however he can be territorial towards other dogs and animals. He can bark (Just a typical Dachshund!) He is not however aggressive towards family members dogs that visit, just the ones he sees on walks which he does not initiate the barking.
Tuppence has separation anxiety when she first came to owners as she was a show dog, however it has improved over time. She doesn’t like strangers especially men and will growl and nip them. She usually overcomes her fear if she is offered food or a walk. She is better if she is on their level e.g. sitting on couch.
She will bark at other dogs on walks and try and nip them too. She is also food obsessed and this is a good way to get her attention, Please note she will steal food wherever she can, so cupboards need to be closed and food not left around!
Tuppence will take some time coming around to the new environment and new people but she is a very sweet dachshund when you have become her friend.
A loving retired home would be ideal for this beautiful loving pair or someone that works from home.
